Hey I'm Jacqueline!

My earliest memories are in front of the camera lenses, the smell of our home studio, and the worn props I grew up playing with. The lights and backdrops became a magical world where you could transform into anything you wanted to be. I learned that the sky was the limit with how you can paint the present moment. 

At 19, my mother Jan took me under her wing as her second shooter for jansimmonsphotography.com and it all fell into place. I have accompanied numerous weddings and photoshoots, practicing a calculated, tried and true approach to photography.  I have learned plenty of lessons along the way, like how to read the weather, how to pose people and avoid awkwardness, and most importantly, how to trust myself and my instincts as a professional. All this I learned through my mom-boss (like girl-boss but cooler!) I have much respect for the mothers I meet along the way and love to give them their well-deserved spotlight. 

My mother's father was a photographer who passed it down to her, my mother graciously passed it down to me, and although I am immensely grateful for all I have learned, the hard work does not stop here. I am continuously practicing and learning new photoshop techniques so that I may continue to please the families and people who choose to take a chance on a youngsta like myself! 

My Passion to make art and get people laughing creates an authentic and fresh approach to capturing these precious memories. I care very deeply about the families that I meet and their wants and needs. I will faceplant in the sand and get dragged out by the riptide to get the shot that will make you happy. My goal is to get you as excited as I am about your sparkle.
